The Savage Life!

Last Saturday night we held the 2023 Prom at the Artesian is Sulphur. I want to begin by thanking the faculty and staff of Wynnewood High School for working together to ensure that our students had an amazing Prom experience. The Prom is an event that we begin planning early in the school year and continues through the months leading up to it. Holding the event off campus creates new experiences for our students. It also creates new issues and challenges for us, we take note of what worked and what didn't work so well, and will make the necessary adjustments moving into next Prom season.

Next I want to thank the students who attended Prom. We had no issues the entire night. The students were all well behaved and represented themselves and Wynnewood High School in a great manner. Not to mention, they all looked stunning! Towards the end of the evening, Ethen Readnour and Bri Mann were crowned our 2023 Prom King and Queen.

Last, but not least, our underclassmen servers! They did a great job of keeping the food rolling out and the tables cleared! We appreciate your willingness to help out! Thank you, again!

Our Wynnewood Savages are the Elmore City-Pernell Baseball Invitational Tournament Champions! Savages won the game with a run rule in the bottom of the 6th over ECP with a score of 13-5! This improves the overall season record to 15-4! Congratulations, we are proud of you!

A few of our FFA Officers were called upon this week to help out the Easter bunny by hiding eggs at the elementary school! Thank you Brock Dixon, Bri Mann, Reese Thompson, and Ashlynn Carroll for doing your part to help out our Lil' Savages! 💕

Get ready parents, some of your children should be just a little bit more prepared to help you out in the kitchen after this week! Our Family & Consumer Science Basics classes got around to whipping up some good food. I was a taste tester for a few of these things, and they were delish!
