- Thanks RATS for their role as paparazzi and Marianne, Joseph, Cherie and Lisa for helping to keep things orderly in the lobby on VIP night
- Thanks to leadership team and Laura for working on a plan for RTI2B and increasing counselor-student time
- Thanks to Andrea Fissel and Shasta for helping our PBL/Science collaborative seem to blend so smoothly
- Thanks to Kayla Stevenson, who has been the interim for Stephanie B for being a great teammate and first impression of second grade for our students. We wish her well. This will be her last week. She has other interims on the horizon!
- Thanks for filling out the club survey, Alicia and I will meet this week to plan the schedule and get moving on the dates and groups.
Week of September 3-7
No school in observance of Labor Day
Tuesday:
Approximately 9:00 Emergency Response Team drill. Teachers-listen for announcement to remain in class until "all clear"
Club meeting Wolf/Helton
Jumpstart to Canvas Mini Lab @ ASC computer lab 3:45-eligible for 6 hours
Wednesday:
Our RTI2B action team is ready to get started. We are now close to 30 days in and it is time for universal screener. Laura and I (when possible) will visit your team during planning to accomplish the screener and discuss student support structure
Jessica Koon in conference room 8-12 to work with Mollie/Traci/Cherie/Joseph/Lisa as needed to discuss re-evaluation schedule for the year, student needs,etc. Teachers you may drop in with sped questions for Jessica as well.
Thursday:
Emily, Dwain and Heather to have literacy walkthroughs on Thursday from 8-11. LCF, LCC Literacy collaborative will be with Shasta until I can join

FYI and Reminders:
- In lieu of the faculty meeting on Monday, September 10, please take time to read the following article. This is a timely discussion regarding consequences and how we approach restoring behavior vs. punishment and all the beliefs behind it.
- For the upcoming parent conference day on Sept. 14 , teachers may work 1/2 of
- Data : This week, you will be receiving any individual data reports provided by Nextera. In addition, any TVAAS information I have will be provided. We will invite Michael Hubbard to come and discuss this with us in the near future, but I want you to have it now.
- Evaluations info: Guiding questions for TEAM evaluation planning. in response to our joint faculty meeting, the principals met and were able to determine some guiding questions that will assist with the planning conferences. We are working on further developing the guiding questions to include your input from the meeting. They will be broad but possibly subject based. InDes will continue to work on these questions to finalize and individuals will have discretion on planning templates. Your format for planning is up to you-however, you will need to be able to speak to where this lesson fits into the unit of study and how the learning path is leading you to an outcome. Teacher observations will not begin until guiding questions and/or templates are shared.
