End of the Year
It is hard to believe we are headed into May and the end of the year is almost here. The upcoming weeks will be filled with field trips, lessons, bonding experiences and more. Be sure to keep an eye out for classroom newsletters as well as the Dates to Remember section in Montessori Matters. Many things will be happening across campus and we don't want anyone to miss out on the many opportunities and celebrations. We will be sure to highlight some of these events in future newsletters.
Hold on as the next few weeks fly by! We all look forward to finishing the year strong.

MSA Eagle Athletics
Our track team wrapped up their season with a busy week and turned in their best performances of the season. They had a meet at Palmetto High School on Monday, where despite the cold temperatures our 8th grade runner, Sean, went out with a bang. He recorded his season best in all of his events (110 hurdles, 100 m & 200 m dash). Carter also recorded his top long jump distance there. Carter and Jack, 7th graders, then finished their season on Saturday at the Next generation meet at Hanna and set personal bests in some of their events (Carter - 1 mile, Jack - 100 m & 200 m). We are so proud of their growth and hard work.

Spring Benefit Items
There are still a few items left from this year's Spring Benefit available for purchase. There is some art work, a table top air hockey table, cowboy themed welcome signs and South Carolina metal cut-outs. If you are interested in any of these items, please contact Jaime Emery at jemery@msasc.org.

MSA Belk Charity Day
MSA is raising funds for new classroom materials and supplies for all classrooms while partnering with other local organizations and charities to help them raise funds as a part of Belk Charity Day.
How does it work? MSA sells $5 coupons for Belk Charity Day. We keep the $5 from each coupon sold and the purchaser gets $5 off a purchase of any amount at Belk in addition to extra savings available only with the coupon.
How can we help? If each MSA family will commit to sell just 4 Belk Charity Day coupons, MSA will earn at least $2000.
Coupons can be picked up in the office or submit your request to the office and we will send them home with your child. Please return all money from tickets sold and any unsold tickets by Thursday, May 3rd.
