Ed.35 May 14, 2023 - Updates and Upcoming Events at CCS
Happy Mother's Day to all of our CCS moms! You are loved and appreciated!
Mrs. Parker's Kindergarten class led morning devotion on Friday by reading their scripture based recitation sentences.
STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK
This past week staff members were absolutely showered with love by PTF parents and students!
Monday - A coffee truck from Alabama Mud Coffee and a spread of Panera bagels were just the ticket to get the week started. Teachers also walked in to signs and banners on walls and doors thanking them for all they do.
Tuesday - A charcuterie smorgasbord was not only beautiful to look at, but even more delicious to eat.
Wednesday - Massages by Art of Massage and Healing Modalities were enjoyed by everyone.
Thursday - Staff enjoyed a shopping trip to their very own Farmer's Market, complete with CCS gear, fresh eggs, strawberries, preserves, plants and much more.
Friday - The grand finale of Staff Appreciation Week was a steak and chicken date night dinner for staff and their spouses.
Throughout the week students brought in lots of flowers, favorite snacks and special goodies for their teachers.
THANK YOU PARENTS for all of the time, effort, love, and thoughtfulness you poured into the staff this week! It was so, very appreciated!
BOOK FAIR WEEK: OINK, CLUCK, BAA, AND MOO
Students enjoyed finding new books and posters at the Scholastic Book Fair and dressing up too.
Thank you Mrs. Candase and Mrs. Rena for all your hard work to provide the fair for our students!
SO MUCH MORE THAN A GAME
The night was filled with good food, laughter, smiles, a few tears, and lots of praise.
As we celebrated the accomplishments of our student athletes we also had a chance to celebrate who they are in Christ. As a highlight to the night, everyone cheered and celebrated with the announcement of salvations that took place during basketball season.
We are very proud of our student athletes for what they do on the court/field, but we are SO MUCH MORE PROUD of them for deciding to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior and be a light for those around them!

Our annual end of the year Field Day will be on Friday, May 19th.
Volunteers are needed for this fun-filled day.PK-6th grade will have four different rotations they will rotate through and the upper school students will have a slip-n-slide kickball tournament.

GOLF TOURNAMENT TEAM REGISTRATION
Each school year we host two major fundraising events. One of them is our Feed the Need project in the fall. The other is our upcoming golf tournament, the CCS Annual Golf Classic. These events help provide the financial stability needed to keep our tuition costs low for our families.
The Golf Classic event is one month away so it's time for us to ramp up our requests for teams and sponsors. We need your help to spread the word!
Getting the word out is simple. Anytime you see a post on our Facebook page, please share it. This helps make it visible for more people. However, the BEST WAY to spread the word is by word of mouth! Please tell your friends and family members about this important event.
Attached you will find two documents: one for team registration and the other for sponsorships. Please feel free to download, post, and distribute to the people you know. You can also direct them to our webpage at cullmanchristian.org/golf-tournament for information and online registration.
Thank you in advance for your help in promoting this event!
SPONSORSHIPS FOR THE GOLF TOURNAMENT
