FAQs
Where do I get materials to decorate my classroom/ bulletin board?
Ms. Wahidi has placed an order for butcher paper for the school. When it comes in she will let everyone know via email. Other materials to decorate classrooms must come from your teacher or personal budget.
What is my teacher budget?
Teacher budgets are funds for Lead (excludes ATs, interventionist) teachers to purchase supplies and materials for their classroom, since we do not provide stock supplies for teachers outside of copy paper. Teachers should prioritize their budget for items needed for instruction; however, teachers may spend some funds to decorate classrooms. The teacher budget is $750 for the school year.
Teacher budget funds will not be available until August 15th. Therefore, any items purchased for your classroom before this date must come from personal budget and can be submitted for reimbursement after August 15th. If materials are not needed to start school, teachers can create an amazon account and make a wish list to submit to Ms. Wahidi. Ms. Wahidi will begin processing wish list orders on August 15th.
What if I want extra furniture or I am missing furniture based on the classroom inventory list?
Please do not move any furniture from or to your room. If you are missing furniture from the classroom inventory items listed in the print environment document email me or Antjuan Welch.
If there is furniture in your room you do not want, mark it with a sticky note with the word "Remove" on it and move it near your door. Mr. Welch will walkthrough the space to note items that need to be removed from classrooms.
Where are the printing/copy machines?
To use the copy machine you will need a print code. Our print code is 150. Color copiers are located on the 2nd floor in room 705 and on the first floor in the front office. The printers on the 3rd floor are located in the teacher break room 813 and teacher workroom 816.
Do we have a finalized school calendar yet?
Yes, funny you should ask! Click the link for our EEP 2019 - 2020 School Calendar.
Are we fully hired?
