Jump Rope Skills
Students practiced the jump rope and other jumping skills at different stations. The 3rd and 4th graders have been practicing their jump rope tricks that they can't wait to show off at the Kids Heart Challenge. The Kindergarten through 2nd grade are excited about the fun jumping stations and look forward to jumping in the different stations with other students from their grade. Students had fun playing the warm-up games of sharks and minnows, dead ant tag, and toilet tag.
We only need 20 more students to get registered online to reach our school goal of 122. So far we've raised $5,800 online. We're getting closer to the school goal of $10,000 where the top fundraisers will throw a pie in a teacher's face. All donation envelopes are due by February 28th, the day of the Kids Heart Challenge BIG Event. Parents are welcome to volunteer to help during any of the time slots throughout the day. So far we have a quarter of the students at Friess Lake get registered online. It would be great at least half of the students registered so that the school receives $500 for new gym equipment. Thank you for your help and support.
