Point View School
NEWSLETTER - Week 1 - 30 July 2021
PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
A very warm welcome to all those who have joined Point View School at the start of this term. Jenna Darby is well-known to the school as a parent, and it is a pleasure to welcome her as the teacher of our latest New Entrant class in Room 17. Brittany Jude is also well-known at our school because she was once a student here, and now, she has joined our senior syndicate as a newly qualified teacher. What a privilege for the school to be able to continue to learn together with Brittany as she enters her chosen profession!
We are also pleased to welcome Katherine Guo who is a Bilingual Support Worker and Senaa Zainy who returns to our Learning Support Team.
Matariki has passed and so we are planning and preparing for the future. Term dates for 2022 have been approved by the Board and are published on our website Term Dates 2022.
As we consider our priorities for the future it is important for us to gain a clear picture of the present. Please help us do this by completing a short ‘Community Survey’. Links to the English and Mandarin versions of this survey are here:
Point View School Community Survey 2021
We want to hear from a large sample of our community, so we encourage all caregivers in your family to have their say and fill out the survey. Be quick because we want to get the results, provide feedback and plan ahead before the end of this term!

Principal
