Board Meeting - Tonight, Thursday, September 22, 2022
The next Board of Education Meeting will be this evening, Thursday, September 22, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. Board meetings will continue to be streamed live and can be accessed on the website prior to the start of the meeting at www.sbschools.org.
We welcome and invite anyone who would like to make a public comment at any of our Board of Education meetings to please attend the in-person meeting. Although not required, the Board requests that residents who are interested in speaking at a Board meeting register with the Board Secretary's office prior to the meeting by calling (732) 297-7800, extension 3110 or by emailing marcia.garitano@sbschools.org. Residents will be heard during the portion of the meeting designated for public comment.

Parks and Recreation News
South Brunswick Parks & Recreation will be hosting several after school and weekend programs at the South Brunswick Community Center starting in October 2022 for Grades K -7:
- Chess Wizards, an exciting chess program to teach your child how to play chess or how to improve your game. The Chess program is meeting on Tuesdays. Please click here for more information.
- KidzArt is offering an art class on Wednesdays. The program will explore pastels, watercolor, marker and clay. Please click here for more information.
- Bricks4Kidz will be building motorized Lego models and programming on Wednesdays. Please click here for more information.
- Junior Chef is offering a Thursday program of “Sweet & Savory” recipes. They will receive a Junior Chef Box to take home to continue to cook and bake at home! Please click here for more information.

Exciting News to Share from Crossroads South
We are excited to share that Crossroads South Middle School has been awarded the prestigious Unified Champions School Grant from Special Olympics New Jersey for the fourth year in a row! What this means is Crossroads South School is recognized by the Special Olympics of New Jersey for being inclusive to students with disabilities. A Unified Champion School creates a climate of inclusion, acceptance, respect, and human dignity for all students to ensure special education and general education students are equitably engaged. Way to go Crossroads!!
