Friday, April 1 was originally scheduled as a Student Holiday/Teacher Planning Day. However, due to bad weather days, April 1 is now a regular school day.

Friday, April 15 and Monday, April 18 are listed on the district calendar as "Bad Weather Days". These days will remain School Holidays.

Construction at Anna Middle School began earlier this month. AMS is gaining a second gym and additional locker rooms. Currently, many middle school athletic events are held at Anna High School. Adding a second gym allows middle school competitions to be played on campus and eliminates bus travel for practices and home games. The new gym will also serve as a tornado shelter.

Texas building codes require new schools to include tornado shelters. Anna's second middle school will consist of two competition gyms, with one doubling as a tornado shelter. As we grow and build, the district intends to make our campuses equitable.

The AMS expansion is expected to be finished by Spring Break in 2023. In August 2023, Anna Middle School's name will change to Slater Creek Middle School, which will coincide with the opening of Clemons Creek Middle School.

Clemons Creek Middle School, named after the creek that runs through the area, is officially under construction! CCMS, Anna's second middle school, is located south of Harlow Elementary School.

CCMS is a 160,000 square-foot project and is scheduled to open in August 2023. It includes an athletic facility, a large media center, collaborative spaces, and next-generation learning spaces with state-of-the-art technology.

CCMS is funded by the 2016 bond authorization of $155 million. This project will use $53 million from that bond. Another $15 million is dedicated to the next Anna High School expansion. The AHS project will mark the completion of the 2016 bond authorization.

With the growth and development of our community, Anna ISD expects to add new facilities every year.

The $85 camp registration fee is waived during Super Sign-up Weekend.

Summer Day Camps are about discovery: finding new talents, trying new activities, and making lasting memories. YMCA believes in the power of learning through play; therefore, Campers' days will be filled with weekly theme-based enrichment activities, nature/outdoor learning, time for creative and performing arts, improvisation games, fitness/conditioning, community service projects, global diversity efforts, off-site field trips, swimming/water games, leadership opportunities, and so much more!
