FRIDAY, MAY 12
8th Grade Boys Baseball - The Tamanend varsity baseball team lost to Log College by a score of 7-4. Michael C. and Shane H. pitched well in the loss.
7th Grade Boys Baseball - played away at Holicong.
7th Grade Girls Softball - played away at Holicong.
Monday, May 15
7th Grade Softball - The 7th grade softball lost to a very strong Unami team 11-4 on.
8th Grade Girls Soccer - 8th grade soccer lost their game 2-0 vs. Tohickon.
8th Grade Girls Softball - The 8th grade girls softball team won a hard fought battle against Holland won with a score of 10 - 4. The teams were tied going into the 6th inning with a score of 4-4. Timely hits by Katrina M., Ashley C. and Tori R. had the bases-loaded with two outs. Gracie M. walked up to the plate and after battling deep into the count, she hit a grand slam, clearing the bases and sealing the lady tigers fate. Other outstanding performances by Tori S. with a home run and huge defensive plays by Megan G. And Sam L. In the outfield. Great game ladies.
8th Grade Boys Baseball - The Tamanend varsity baseball team lost a close game by a score of 3-2. Alex B. and Cole N. pitched well in the loss. At the plate Carter H. and Kyle S. both went 2 for 3 with a run scored.
Tuesday, May 16
Girls 7th Grade Soccer - Great job to the Tamanend 7th soccer team on their 4-2 win over Lenape. Disha, Alex, Julia and Kaitlyn did a great job putting on the pressure as strikers. Keeping the ball on our offensive end and helping the strikers from feeding some nice through balls were Abi, McKenna, and Kayla. Izzy, Kate, Nina and Leah did a great job making quick runs down the side and making some beautiful crosses. Lia, Julia, Bella, Olivia and Lauren worked well as a defensive line and made it difficult for Lenape to get many shots on goal. Madison and Emilee did a great job in goal.
Boys Varsity LAX - Played away at Tohickon.
Wednesday, May 17
The girls started the medal winning by placing 3rd in the Shuttle Hurdle relay. Members included Hannah, Yvonne, Kate and Sara. Next, was the 4 x200 team of Ellie, Jaylen, Olivia , and Caitlyn. The boys came in an impressive 2nd in the 4x 800 with Aritra, Ben, James and Liam. Liam then went right back on the track and helped his 4 x 100 team win 3rd, along with Ryan, Shane and Brian. The girls 4 x 100 team came in 2nd with Ellie, Izzy, Jaylen and Olivia. Both thrower’s relays placed, with Sonya, Yvonne, Tihanna, Tommy W., James and David.
And finally, to round us out, were some fantastic pairs who placed as well:
In long jump, Audrey and Izzy; in high jump, Yvonne and Audrey; and in shot, Tommy W., and James.
Congratulations to all the athletes on the track team.
Girls 7th Grade Soccer - Congratulations to the 7th Grade soccer team on finishing their season with a 2-1 win over Unami. Keeping strong in the defense were Lia, Julia, Bella, Olivia and Lauren. Strong attacking out of the midfield were McKenna, Nina, Kate, Kayla, Kaitlyn and Izzy. The Lady Tigers pushed hard through a tough game and came out on top. Aggressive pressure by Julia, Disha, Alex, Kaitlyn and Abi proved to work for the Tigers. Madison and Emilee played hard in goal saving some tough shots. Scoring for the lady tigers were Olivia with 1 and Abi with 1. Great job!!!
8th Grade Boys Baseball - The Tamanend 8th grade baseball team beat a tough Richboro team by a score of 10-1. “Big Play” Clay Nehring pitched a complete game while giving up only 1 run on 2 hits, with no walks. Kyle Schiwall continued his hot streak going 3 for 4 with 2 runs scored and 3 RBIs. Jeff Decker went 2 for 2 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBIs. Good luck Tigers as you enter the district tournament.
8th Grade Girls Softball - The eighth-grade girls softball team won their last regular-season game against Richboro with a score of 19-1. The girls had great offense and great defense with outsanding pitching by Lexi R. And huge hits by Katrina M. and Jasmine C. Congrats girls and good luck next week!
Thursday, May 11
7th Grade Girls Softball - The 7th grade softball team played their final game of the season against Lenape which ended in a 9-9 tie. The tigers played a great game that was lead by Abby M in the circle recording 12 strikeouts. Abby also had a great day at the plate going 3-4 with 3 RBI's. Emma B, Hailey S and Jacque W helped with key hits to get runs in for the tigers. Congratulations girls on sticking together as a team and playing hard this season!
CB SOUTH SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS
Any 8th or 9th grader who will be playing a fall sport, there will be a shuttle bus available for impact education/testing on Monday, May 22nd.
MAKE-UPS for Concussion Education are May 31st 3pm. in room D204 and D205.
Impact testing to follow the concussion presentation.
If you are planning on taking the shuttle you will need to bring a note from your parent giving you permission to ride the bus, to the front office to obtain your bus pass. No student will be permitted on the bus without a bus pass.
CB SOUTH GIRLS TENNIS
There will be a tennis meeting for any girl interested in trying out for the CB South Tennis team this fall immediately following the concussion education on Monday, 5/22

CB South Girls Soccer - There will be a CB South Girls Soccer Informational Parent Meeting on Wednesday, May 24, from 6-7:30 in the Forum
CB South Field Hockey - There will be a field hockey interest meeting on May 22 at CB South immediately following the Concussion Meeting and Impact Testing scheduled for 3:00 pm
For All CB South FALL ATHLETES – there will be a mandatory concussion meeting on May 22 in the auditorium at 3:00 pm. There will be Impact Testing to follow. Here are the impact testing times:
Field Hockey and Girl's Volleyball- 3:45pm
Boy's Soccer and Cheerleading- 4:30pm
Freshman Football and Girl's Soccer- 5:15pm
JV and Varsity Football- 6pm
