Big picture

Hi Hansen Students, Parents, and Families!

While we have one half day of school remaining on Tuesday, June 21, please allow me to wish all of you a happy, restful, and relaxing summer vacation! This has been a busy year, as students and staff reacclimated back to full in-person learning and I am incredibly proud of all that we accomplished as a school community. I am also grateful for the ongoing support and collaboration from families that allowed our students to have wonderful experiences this year. Not every moment was easy, but we persevered through the hard times, celebrated countless moments of greatness and success, and experienced true joy each day!

Please enjoy some of this weeks' Hansen highlights through the pictures below...

5th Grade Clap-Out : June 21

Our 5th Grade Clap-Out is coming on Tuesday! As in years past, we are excited to once again send our 5th grade students out with a 'Clap-Out' on the last day of school, June 21. This is a half day, and we invite families of fifth graders to meet on the front blacktop, next to the front playground, to greet their students as they leave the Hansen School as elementary students for the last time.

Families are welcome to arrive around 11:30, and students will be exiting out the side doors off of the blacktop around 11:45. We are excited to celebrate our Grade 5 students and congratulations for all that you have accomplished during your elementary school years. We know you will continue to do great things in middle school!

Reminder: Summer Reading Information
