TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT! Let's celebrate our seniors, the Class of 2023, as they take the field in the traditional LVHS Senior Walk. Immediately following the game, the seniors will walk from the visitors sideline to the home sideline. Parents, family and friends can greet them at the home sideline for hugs and pictures (but no tears)!

Free and Reduced-Price Meal News
As a reminder, LVISD transitioned back to Free and Reduced-Price Meals for the 22-23 school year. The federal government is no longer funding the free lunch program, which was part of the COVID-19 pandemic aid package. All families are encouraged to fill out the Free and Reduced-Price Meals applications. If your child previously received free or reduced-priced meals, a new application must be received to determine if your child still qualifies. Previous free and reduced-meal eligibility has now expired. You can fill out the Free & Reduced Meal application online at MySchoolApps by clicking on the following links:
Parking permits are $35 and can be paid for online at the link below. Students should complete the form (they can pick them up from the front office) and show payment confirmation in order to receive a permit.

Want to be part of the Lago Vista ISD Education foundation?
Have you heard of the Lago Vista ISD Education Foundation?
We have been around for many years and are a foundation that fundraises to give grants to educators in our district. Those grants fund equipment and supplies for students. Lago Vista ISD students are the direct beneficiaries of all of our efforts.
We are currently looking for community volunteers to help with our Giving Tuesday Campaign. You can learn more about how to help and who we are at our website, https://www.lvisdeftx.com, or by emailing email@example.com.
When LVISD students thrive, our community does too!
Booster Club Corner
Did you know that the LV Viking Booster Club provides funds to every sport in the district? Throughout the year, football concessions represents our biggest fundraiser and the funds that are raised are used to provide athletic equipment for all sports. So we truly represent one club fundraising for all district sports. We are so happy to have the ability to support so many, but we need your help in order to continue funding these programs successfully. We need volunteers from every sport to sign up for concessions and other support functions by clicking on the links provided below. As a side note, we are now able to accept all credit cards and Apple Pay in concessions with our newly installed and easy to use point of sale system. We are excited and focused on creating a culture of volunteerism district wide and we can only be successful together!
Please see the concession links for all football teams --

LV Viking Booster club provided funding for new volleyball equipment for both middle school and high school teams!
Concession changes: You will notice at the football game tonight that there will be five separate lines to help with the flow and hopefully create shorter wait times!
With a new year back in gear, we wanted to update everyone on this year's Covid Protocol. Instead of students staying home for any single Covid symptom, we have differentiated the symptoms into milder and more serious ones. Please see the different symptom lists here. The number of restricted days has also changed from 10 days to 5 days of isolation.
We hope this helps clarify the process for everyone.
Please don't hesitate to call your nurse if you have questions.
Every Wednesday in LVISD is college day! Students should wear their favorite college t-shirt!
