Principal Message
Happy October Washington Families,
Can’t believe we’ve been in school for 2 months already. The school year seems to be flying by, time sure does fly when we are having fun. Students are back in the groove of attending school daily and feeling comfortable at school. October brings the end of the first trimester with Parent Teacher conferences right around the corner.
This month we will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week by saying NO to drugs. Be on the lookout for a week full of fun Spirit Days. This month PTA will also be sponsoring a Harvest Truck or Treat. You will hear more information about this in the coming weeks.
As we end our first trimester, I would like to remind families that school begins at 7:45 and students can enter campus at 7:15 for breakfast. Please do not drop your students off at school prior to 7:15 as there is no supervision at that time. Thank you for assisting with this.
I am looking forward to an AMAZING second trimester!

My name is Monica Dominguez and for the past year I have been your Health Clerk. I am a proud mama of three, Aja (15), Jordyn (11), and Josiah (8). My husband Steve and I recently celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary! I was a stay at home mom for 14 years prior to working for CNUSD. Some of my favorite activities are swimming, going to the beach, and serving at New Beginnings Community Church! I feel so blessed to be part of the Washington team and being here with my kids is the cherry on top!
Mrs. Claudius
My name is Ada G. Claudius and I’m one of the 6th grade dual teachers! I’ve been married for 21 years and have a daughter in her junior year in high school and a son in 6th grade and both are dual students from Washington since kindergarten.
