Constitutional Convention

-On the afternoon of May 15, 1787 fifty-five delegates attended what was known as the Constitutional Convention.

-Over the next few months, the delegates debated the best way from keeping the United States From falling apart.

-everyone attended except Rhode Island

1ST AMENDMENT- Freedom of speech,religion, press,assembly,and petition.

4TH AMENDMENT-Prohibits unreasonable searches and seizures.

5TH AMENDMENT-Prohibits self-incrimination and double jeopardy and mandates the process of law.

10TH AMENDMENT-The balance of power between the federal government and the states.
