Principal's Message
I have been speaking with staff in regards to workload expectations for our students. We know that a majority of our students are going to have to make an adjustment to a 7&1/2 hour day which they haven't seen in over a year. Students will struggle to wake up early and to remain engaged as we enter the late afternoon. As we consider these factors as well as the fact that many students will have 2 study centers/day, at least every other, students should not be bringing much home in regards to work. Hopefully we have a nice spring like its been the last 10 days and students are able to enjoy the outdoors and fresh air after school!
Thank you for your continued support.
Andy

All roads are paved with good intentions, but the meeting from Tuesday night was not recorded.
Here is the LINK to the powerpoint that we covered in the meeting in case you could not make the evening meeting. Please reach out to the guidance counselors with any questions that you may have.
Current 6th Graders: We will NOT host a Scheduling Presentation for current 6th graders, as their options for 7th grade will not change.

Student Drop Off & Pick Up
- We would prefer that students are dropped off as close as possible to our 8:28 start time. We will be releasing those students who arrive early at 8:18. We have different drop off locations according to grade levels, so if you have students in both groups, please choose one of these areas and communicate the plan with your student.
6th Grade: The 6th graders should be dropped off using the larger North lot and they will enter through the main entrance. Please see the video below of what this process should look like.
7th & 8th Grade: The 7th and 8th grade drop off will remain in the current location in the smaller West lot. Please see the video below of what this process should look like.
PICK UP
- We will have a staggered release of students at the end of the day to avoid congestion in the hallways. We plan on releasing those students being picked up around 3:12. We have different pick up locations according to grade levels, so if you have students in both groups, please choose one of these areas and communicate the plan with your student.
6th Grade: The 6th graders should be picked up using the larger North lot and they should walk out through the main entrance. Please see the video below of what this process should look like.
7th & 8th Grade: The 7th and 8th grade pick up will remain in the current location in the smaller West lot. Please see the video below of what this process should look like.

Updated Student Schedules & Progress Book
With the full return beginning next Monday, March 15, we wanted to remind students to please check their schedule in Progressbook over the weekend to make sure they are aware of any changes that might have been made. We have had to make some slight adjustments and lunch looks a little different, so please take time to look over and even print the schedule in preparation for Monday, March 15.
Students can view their GMS schedule and their 3rd-Quarter report card on or after March 13th in ProgressBook by logging in through the "Students Sign In with Google" button found on the right side of https://pa.metasolutions.net/
If you have any questions, please reach out to your school counselor.
Thank you,

- Lunches will be “Grab and Go” for quick service through the normal service lines. Items will be labeled with large signs with the options for the day so the student will be able to decide and quickly get through the service line.
- Lunches will consist of an entrée bag or container and a sides or extras bag to ensure we are serving a complete reimbursable meal.
- Cash registers-At this time we will not be serving any extras(ice cream, chips, or beverages) to ensure the students will not be slowed down by entering student ID’s. Until June 30th all reimbursable breakfasts and lunches are free of charge to all students.
