Habitat

  • Throughout Circumpolar Arctic
  • Along or near coast
  • on islands
  • on sea ice
  • Biome- Arctic Tundra

  • ringed seals
  • bearded seals
  • walrus
  • beluga whale
  • bird eggs
  • occasionally vegetation

Reproduction

  • 1-3 cubs
  • most common 2 cubs
  • nurse for 2-3 years then leave them

  • Thick layer of blubber

  • skin is actually black
  • fur is transparent not white
  • If you eat a polar bear's liver you will die from to much vitamin A
