Edition 22 - Week of February 22
Greetings...
Dear teachers,
Please have a great weekend! We actually have a full week next week (or so it looks in the weather updates), and we will be giving you more information on the TNReady testing schedule. Looking at the positive side, we got more instructional days in before Part I!
Sincerely,

Calling all talent....FACULTY TALENT SHOW!
The faculty talent show takes place during senior week, which will be the last week of April. The show includes a variety of musical, comedy, and dance acts that are performed in a show exclusively for the seniors. We have a lot of talent on this staff, but even if you don't have "talent," you can still be a part if you just want to be silly. :)
Start brainstorming and getting your acts together. The show is always a hoot! You don't want to miss being a part of this fun and memorable event. The seniors get such a kick out of seeing their teachers on stage!
Email me your ideas and tentative plans. If you would like to participate but don't have an idea or group. let me know and we'll find a spot for you.

Teacher Spotlight....Jessica Jackson
I was raised on a beef cattle farm in Lincoln County. I have lived in Murfreesboro since I graduated from MTSU in 2005. I received my masters in admin and supervision from MTSU in 2009.
I have two older brothers, one is a fireman here in Murfreesboro and the other farms with my dad. I don't have any children but I love being an aunt to my 3 yr. old nephew Tucker and I have two God sons, Harrison (pictured with me) and James.
I love anything that includes the outdoors (hiking, water skiing, running) and I enjoy cooking in my spare time (though there is not much of that in my current life)
This is my first year as the head basketball coach here at Blackman, but prior to my two years at Stewarts Creek, I taught and was the asst. basketball coach here at BHS for 7 years.
