September 27, 2020 - Weekly Highlights: Vol. 2, Issue 7
We are excited to see our students. We are excited to welcome them back to NHES. We are excited to see our NHES families. We are excited to explore this new journey with all our sharks! We respectfully ask that you allow us as educational professionals to focus on our students, their instruction, and their well-being. As NMUSD staff, we will be adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines; please do not attempt to engage with us during the school day about your personal opinions or frustrations about safety protocols and guidelines as it takes away from our students...the sole reason we are here!

Health & Safety
As we reopen school and begin welcoming our students back to campus, I want you to know that my priority and commitment continues to be of our students’ and staff’s health and safety, at all times, in every aspect practicable.
Our school reopening plan includes the safety steps we are taking for our students and staff. If you have concerns about your student's ability to safely attend in-person school due to concerns with your student's health or family risk factors, our district is requesting that you contact our School Nurse, Brenda McHone (email@example.com) ASAP.
As we built each class’ cohort (group) within the specific district guidelines, such as NMUSD transportation services, siblings, etc. for our 450+ students, our goal was to continue supporting opportunities for students to be academically successful and maintain positive peer relationships. At this time, we do not have the capacity to accommodate specific requests.
I truly understand the challenge families may be having with balancing work/life and students at home and now transitioning into part-time in-person learning; the Clarke family is navigating this journey as well, and truth-be-told, our journey is rocky at best.
Below, you will find instructions for identifying your student’s COHORT…
Log into your Aeries Parent Portal: this is the same portal where you confirmed your information prior to the start of the 2020-2021 school year.
Click on Student Info
Select Demographics from the dropdown menu
Scroll to the bottom of the page, you will see Hybrid Attendance Group (A or B)
NOTE: Due to a glitch with Aeries, some parents are seeing User8 as the heading for A or B, while the heading is not correct, the group (A or B) is.
Hybrid Attendance Group A = AM cohort session
Hybrid Attendance Group B = PM cohort session
