From our School Counselors
Below is a link to an article from Johns Hopkins School of Education. This article provides tips and ideas on how we can best help our children make the most of distance learning. We hope you find it helpful! Please let us know if you need anything at all from your counselors :
Our School Is Hosting a Follett Book eFair!
Supporting a love for reading is critical to student success. Explore our online book fair and help your child find their next favorite book.
Now everyone can participate! Encourage your child to create their online wish list and share with friends and family.
Our eFair code: M656W
Orders due by: October 3rd 2020
Follett will ship your books to the school after our eFair is complete and Mrs. Hanneke will work with you to pick up your books.

Physical Education Update for September
Happy September!
Just a few things from Pierremont Physical Education:
1. For student safety, we encourage students to wear their shoes for PE class. We are also asking that students not eat during class.
2. Please make sure that your child has a designated space for PE.
3. As you have seen, we are teaching from Pierremont's gym. We have been working to provide good sound, please be patient as we continue to problem solve. We are using 2 laptops. One laptop will always be muted to prevent feedback.
4. As we move on in this virtual setting students will need items such as: small ball/ bean bag (can use a sock ball), bucket/basket for a target, scarf (or plastic grocery bag), Looking forward- ball (playground/soccer/basketball size).
We are off to a good start!
