SMS STAFF APPRECIATION
It's that time of year again . . . Time to thank SMS teachers and staff for all of their dedication and hard work in providing comprehensive and safe educations for our students.
Like last year, there will be daily mailbox goodies, food and raffles, but it can't be done without your help! The generosity SMS families showed last year was incredible, so let's do it again!
This SignUp Genius will get us started, but please join us on 4/13 at 4PM at SMS to plan more ideas and coordinate volunteers to help before and during the week. For questions please email Kim at kfrench@scarboroughschools.org.
We are also looking for monetary donations to help fund the event. Donations can be dropped off at the middle school front office to the attention of Rebecca Wandell.
Thank you!
Kim French, Parent Chair of the SMS Staff Appreciation Event
WE ARE BRINGING THE SEAS TO LIFE!
Scarborough Middle School Theater presents Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID JR. at Winslow Homer Center For The Arts at Scarborough High School.
- Friday, April 8 at 7pm
- Saturday, April 9 at 2pm and 7pm
- Sunday, April 10 - 2pm
The 70- minute musical, designed for middle-school aged performers, is based on the 2008 Broadway production and the 1989 animated feature film. This classic Disney title contains all of the songs from the Academy Award® winning animated feature film as well as three new songs from the Broadway show. THE LITTLE MERMAID JR. takes place in a magical kingdom beneath the sea, where a beautiful young mermaid named Ariel longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. But first, she’ll have to defy her mother the queen of the sea, escape the clutches of the evil sea witch Ursula and convince a prince that she’s the girl with the perfect voice.
Come and see Lorelai Noonan (Ariel) Surya Bandi (Sebastian), Mazie Keener (Ursula), and the rest of this wonderful cast create your favorite characters!
