Kindergarten Goes Wild
Kinders visited the Western North Carolina Nature Center which is home to over 60 species of animals! This field trip inspired appreciation for the conservation of plants and animals and introduced students to the biodiversity of the Southern Appalachian Mountains.

Fire Safety
As a part of National Fire Prevention Week, Parkway Fire Department taught fire prevention to kindergarten classes. Students learned essential steps to prevent and escape from a fire.
Each student was presented with a smoke detector to increase safety awareness.
