Disabilities Awareness Week

We celebrate Disabilities Awareness Week from March 27th through March 31st. Please see the flyer below for more information. All students will participate in Bubbles for Autism on Friday, March 31st.

National Reading Month

We encourage all of our students to complete their Reading Passports throughout the month of March. Passports are due to homeroom teachers on March 31st.

Hoops for Soup

Hoops for Soup was a Hoop-tacular success. We collected a huge amount of donations and had a smashing good time watching staff and students compete in basketball. Thank you to those who brought back this fun-filled event as well as everyone who participated in or attended.

Multicultural Night at the Samuel Mickle School on March 30th from 5:30-7:30pm!

Did you know that Flamenco is a dance from Spain? It originated in the southern region of Andalucía and it was influenced by different cultures in the region. Today flamenco is an art form that is preserved and performed throughout the world...and it will be featured at Multicultural Night on March 30th! Come join our students and volunteers, from 5:30-7:30 pm on Thursday, for dance, martial arts, poetry, and presentations from many cultures! This is a celebration of cultures that make up our community. While some hosts will have limited samples, we recommend you come to nourish your soul and mind rather than your stomach :) There will be some seating to the side of the cafeteria if you want to bring your own cultural canapes!

Princess Ball

The Princess Ball is taking place on Saturday, March 25th from 11:00-1:00 p.m. for 3rd -6th grade in the Jeffrey Clark gym. Put on your prettiest dress and get ready to dance the day away, while enjoying sweet treats with your special someone!

The Designer Bag Bingo Fundraiser is Back! Come and enjoy a Fun night out with your friends while winning Designer Handbags and prizes. We'll have 50/50, Basket Raffles, and Door Prizes.
