RECYCLING
Go GREEN!
Background Info
Recycling is divided into two categories; internal and external.
Internal- examples are melting and recasting of excess metal cuttings in a steel or copper mill
External- when people collect used aluminum cans, glass or plastic bottles, or newspapers and magazines for recycling.
- Lessens Pollution
- Saves Energy
- Conserves Land
Long Term Benefits
- Saves Energy
- Conserves Natural Resources
- Reusable
- Recycled steel is used to make new steel products and saves about 74% of energy to make new steel
- Saves Money
recycling= less water and air pollution caused by plants with raw virgin materials
recycled materials reduce need to extract, process, refine, and transport the timber, crude petroleum, ores, and more that are relevant for virgin based paper, plastics, glass, and metals, recycling lessens the toxic air emissions, effluents, and solid wastes that all these create.
recycling helps reduce/ eliminate pollution involved with the production and disposal of consumer products.
Fancy work in factories= tons of pollution of chemicals
Mining iron, coal and other metals causes more pollution
Burning plastics causes air pollution
Littering causes water and land pollution
Solutions
Yes we should recycle because recycling reduces pollution which can be harmful to the environment, also recycling saves money depending on the version of reusing recycling, and lastly littering causes water, air, and land pollution so recycling would reduce the pollution.
