Senior Spotlight-Class of 2021

OVHS Counseling Department: October 19, 2020

SENIORS:

We are heading to the close of our second grading period. Progress reports for grading period 2 will be issued October 30. That means you only have about 8 weeks to keep your grades up or improve grades before the Semester ends on December 18. Don't put your Graduation or A-G status at risk. Make sure you are balancing your work, using a planner to keep track of assignments, and meeting with your teachers during FLEX and Office Hours to get support.

Whether you are planning on attending college, enlisting in the military, training in a career/vocation, or joining the world of work, We are excited for your life after high school. This is your one stop for updated Senior Information. We will continue to update this Newsletter throughout the year.

It is very important that you check your VVUSD email and Google Classrooms Daily to stay informed!

California Colleges.edu

https://www.californiacolleges.edu/

The platform provides high school students the tools to match their interests and skills to postsecondary college and career opportunities. They can take career assessments and use search tools to develop college, major, and career lists, write goals and journals, track activities, and read a variety of age-appropriate content to develop and expand their knowledge on all college, career, and financial aid planning topics.

OVHS Seniors should start their College Search and College Match process here!

OVHS Students should launch Cal State Apply, CCC Apply, and FAFSA through CCGI.

OV students should use their VVUSD Google Account to log-in to CCGI. We will be using this platform to start all College Apps and the FAFSA/CA Dream Act.
