THANK YOU GRADES 5-8 FOR CANVASSING!
Last week, students in Grades 5-8 served as amazing Christian witnesses. After outreach presentations from President Ted Oertel, Evangelism representative Jason Scherer, and Pastor Oelhafen, our students were given treats and 10 Easter cards in an envelope to simply distribute them to their neighborhoods. Many did and 900+ Easter cards were delivered. And God blessed them. How? This past Sunday, one Waukesha resident called our church office to tell us how a “nice Trinity student shared an Easter card to personally invite him and his family to church for Holy Week.” He then came for the very first time to church on Palm Sunday, said how grateful he was for the invite, and that he’d be back. WOW! This is just one story of many. Great job students and special thanks from Trinity’s Evangelism Commission. Like to help TLS students be Easter angels? Pick up extra invites in the church office and deliver them to our neighbors. Let’s keep teaching our kids to share their Holy joy that heaven is ours because of Christ. Jesus said: “You will be my witnesses” (Acts 1:8).
