Principal Ponderings: SUPPORT
My one word for 2019 is support. I reflected on not only this year, but previous years as well, to help determine what my word would be. I also looked forward into what 2019 is going to ask of of me.
- Support for my wife who has crazy wicked interior design skills and has hopes and dreams to put them to good use. This year is her year to chase those hopes and dreams and make them a reality.
- Support for my two kids who, as they get older and experience new things, will have many questions and need assistance.
- Despite being 3 hours away, more support for my parents as they experience some trials and tribulations as they get older and face new transitions.
- Support for our LMS staff, students, and parents as we continue to move our mission forward and make LMS the best building in Berrien County and beyond.
- Lastly, asking for support for myself realizing that while I never want to ask anybody to do what I can do myself, sometimes it just isn't going to happen that way and I need to ask for help.
As we embark on a new calendar year, I encourage you to take a moment to reflect on where you've been and look to where you are going. Your One Word might help get you there.
