The species

One thing that few people know is that the Buff-Breasted Sandpiper is now an endangered species. A delicate dove-headed shorebird, the Buff-breasted Sandpiper is found primarily in migration in areas of short grass. It migrates primarily through the middle of the continent from its arctic breeding grounds to southern South America.

Very Rare

These are two BBS that migrated through Hungary. They are so rare that seeing two at once is unheard of.
