Junior Rangers for 3-5th Graders; THERE ARE A FEW SPOTS REMAINING!!
Dates have been changed: February 21-27, 2018
The sessions are led by interpreters from TN State Parks, with backgrounds in science careers such as biology, geology, wildlife management, and others. This is an opportunity for the kids not only to learn about Tennessee's natural history, but also potential career options as they grow up.
Due to limited space, the Ranger Program can only accept 50 students. I have set up an email account:
If your child is interested, please email me.
I will take the first 50 students who are registered.
Here is how to register:
Email me at jaerangers@gmail.com
List your student's name, grade level, and teacher's name.
By registering your child, you agree to pick your child up in front of the school by 4:45 each afternoon during the 5 days of participation.
Don't Forget to Order a Yearbook!
Dismissal Change Reminder
Dismissal Changes
All requests for dismissal changes must be made by a parent or guardian before 2:40 p.m. Please send a note or call prior to that time. During the school day, teachers and staff may not have an opportunity to check emails. There is no guarantee that an email will be received to communicate a transportation change.
Student safety is our top priority, and we want to make sure that everyone makes it home safely. With over 850 students, our office is a busy place…especially during dismissal. When students begin to transition toward designated dismissal areas, it is difficult for our secretary to track a child down to leave early. There will be no early dismissals or transportation changes after 3:15. If your child has an appointment, please sign him/her out earlier.
Please Remember Your ID
There are times we may give you a sticker to wear rather than using the Lobby Guard, however, it is the common practice to have all visitors use their IDs to sign in.
Also, when signing students out, you may be asked to provide identification.
