Ellis Island--Timber Trace Style!
Students experienced Ellis Island as a turn-of-the-century immigrant. They were greeted by immigration officials and experienced the process as so many of our families did back in the day. Kids and adults dressed in period clothes and really made the most of an fascinating part of our country's history.

PTA Salutes Timber Trace Teachers & Staff!
Congratulations to Timber Trace Elementary! Welcoming/Inclusive School Level 4!
This year the Promoting Welcoming and Inclusive Schools initiative introduced “levels” of professional development. Timber Trace Elementary has completed all components of the Promoting Welcoming and Inclusive Schools PD Level 4!
By completing this level Timber Trace faculty and staff have continued to show their commitment to promoting a welcoming and inclusive school climate for all students but specifically immigrant students. Our school has prioritized the social-emotional needs of our students. Through this, the school is making a difference in the lives of students and staff.
You can find your school’s showcase for this level on the Promoting Welcoming and Inclusive Schools Google Site Showcase of Schools page which is a tile on the portal. Thank you for all you have done to prioritize the immigrant population by educating, affirming, and inspiring them in an equity-embedded school system.
