FHS RISE Weekly Update
Below you will find the the weekly email from Mr. Lyons. I will be contacting parents individually with concerns about students behind the Blue Line of Death. Keep encouraging them to stay on top of their goals!
Rise Families, Summit Parents have unparalleled access to their child's educational experience through the Summit Learning Platform. A student’s online dashboard for setting goals and tracking progress towards those goals, the Platform helps families support their student’s academic success and college readiness at home. When you log into the Platform, you will see everything your student sees. Families are able to check the Platform at any time to understand: The current projects their student is working on. Their student’s cognitive skill performance and whether he/she is on-track to meet his/her individual goals. Their student’s pace of passing content assessments and whether he/she is on-track to meet his/her individual goals. In addition to having a direct window into the platform, parents and legal guardians can engage with students by asking them about the focus areas (content) or projects they are working on, what their goal is for the upcoming week, and how they did on goals for the prior week. As a parent/guardian, you can update your password to make it easier to remember, as well as your contact information (ex: name, email address, phone number, address). To update your account information: Click My Account from the menu on the left. Click Change Password to update your password, or click Change Account Info to update your contact information. A bus will be provided for those staying for ESS. Yearbooks- Last year’s yearbooks have been distributed. If your students would like a book of memories from FHS last year, there are still some extras for sale. Send Mrs. Harmon $40, and they can take one home with them.
