Don't trust what you hear!

By Breannah Picard

The truth

Sleep deprived; Gun shots all night

Rats and frogs carry deadly disease.

They expect you to have no fright

But you watch your own friends decease.

Carry on! Carry on! Seems so simple

Walk for miles with trench foot and the gout

No cure, no care and now your cripple.

They say they care but I highly doubt.

Dear men convinced war positive,

The war is bloody and has no mercy. They don't care if your a uncle, a brother, or dad. They say you matter and your important to them, but I've seen them throw dead bodies with no care and no hesitation. There are no cure for disease and you cannot quit. Don't join the war and live life to its fullest!

Your friend,
