Vision Board Workshop
Vision Board Workshop - January 27
Sponsored by PERC and Hosted by Parkmead mom, Echo Aoki. Part of Parkmead Elementary School Community Engagement series.
Free and open to Parkmead School. Parents are encouraged to come with their children and work together to create a collaborative vision board. All supplies have been donated and provided for by PERC, so all you need to bring is your child (or children) and yourself (spouses welcome too!). This is a whole school, whole family, whole community. You don’t have to be crafty to participate!
What is a vision board? It is a tool used to help clarify, concentrate and maintain focus on a specific life goal. Literally, a vision board is any sort of board on which you display images that represent whatever you (and your child) want to be, want to do, want to feel, or want to have in your life. Not only are vision boards a fun and creative expression, but they are also helpful tools that have long reaching benefits... one of them is visualization. Visualization is one of the most powerful mind exercises you can do.
· Identify your vision and give it clarity.
· Reinforce your daily affirmations.
· Keep your attention on your intention
When you create a vision board with your child and place it in a space where you both see it often, you and your child essentially end up doing short visualization exercises throughout the day.
So, what's the big secret to creating a vision board that works? It's simple: Your vision board should focus on how you want to feel, not just on things that you want. The more your board focuses on how you and your child want to feel, the more it will come to life.
We will be meeting at Parkmead Elementary School MPR Room on Monday, January 27th at 5:45-6:50pm. Please arrive 15 mins early (if possible).

New for this contest! Give Classroom Credit for Scans on the App. Using the latest versions of the app, you can give “credit” to your classroom teacher/s for your scans. For more information watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qWuXDKejVEg&feature=youtu.be
This new credit function will allow us to easily add scan totals for the classroom contest. All scans will be added to the totals at the end of each week to keep the leader board current. We will be using this as the ONLY way to track scans for the contest. Paper clips direct from product packaging are still accepted.
