Kindness Week, March 29 - April 2!

We will have activities throughout the week in which all can participate. Through the "Daily Challenges" we encourage all students and staff to find ways to show kindness to others.

DAILY CHALLENGES

Monday: Text a friend and tell them a reason you are grateful for them.

Tuesday: Tell your parents something you appreciate about them.

Wednesday: Show Kindness to your teachers, look for a way to help them out today.

Thursday: Step up to help someone in need. There are lots of ways to show kindness to others if you pay attention!

Friday: Say hi to 15 people today in the hallway.

Make it a great week before the break by doing something kind for someone else.

Aesop said, "NO ACT OF KINDNESS, NO MATTER HOW SMALL, IS EVER WASTED."

Pledge of Allegiance and National Anthem

Brynlee Thompson led the school in the Pledge of Allegiance and Coach Garrett Johnson sang the National Anthem as he invited all classes to sing with him. Both Brynlee and Coach did a great job and we appreciate their willingness to share their talent with our whole school.

Students, if you would like to sing the National Anthem one Monday this school year, please see Mrs. Jarvis in the choir room! We love volunteers!

Teacher Text - Mr. Millman, Art Teacher

This past year, out of necessity, we have learned things we did not know we could learn and found new tools that some of us did not know existed. Mr. Millman exemplifies this in his photo.

This was our first "Zoomified" parent teacher conference of the 2020-2021 school year. At this point, Mr. Millman left his comfort zone of canvases, paints, and brushes as he learned to use Zoom, ICampus, Canvas, Sign Up Genius...and the drums.

The sign he holds was his back up plan in case he could not be heard on his first Zoom calls. Turns out he didn't need it at all. Mr. Millman did it - he learned something new and continues to learn every day.
