CURRICULUM NEWS FOR WEEK THIRTY-SEVEN
READING: ELAR Scrapbook
Students will be creating a scrapbook in ELAR to highlight their amazing writing! Please send the following items on May 15th:
1.5” binder or scrapbook
stickers
ribbon
glue
scrapbook paper
any other additional scrapbook items
WRITING:
- Students will write an argumentative essay.
MATH:
- End of year Math Activities
SCIENCE:
- Students will understand that living organisms within an ecosystem interact with one another and with their environment.
- Students will investigate that most producers need water, sunlight, and carbon dioxide to make their own food, while consumers are dependent on other organisms for food.
SOCIAL STUDIES:
- Students will explain how the boom of various industries impacted growth, development, and urbanization of Texas.

IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER
Wednesday, May 22 -End of Year Learning Celebration @ 8 beginning in the cafe and then will move to your child's homeroom class.
Friday, May 24 - 4th Grade End of Year Party @ 10:30 (Lunch in classroom @ 10:00. Notify your homeroom teacher if your student needs a lunch from the cafe.)
