FSA Testing Begins This Week

The third grade ELA assessment will be administered on 4/20 and 4/21. The fourth and fifth grade Writing assessment will be administered on 4/22. The lunch, recess and specials schedules for all students will be different on those days. Although the State of Florida has changed some of the impact of testing, it is still important for our students to do their best and show what they know.

If your child is in grades 3-5, you can help foster their success by making sure they get a good night's sleep the night before, eat a healthy breakfast, eliminate morning stressors, (like being late, rushing, etc.) help them keep the test in perspective to reduce anxiety, but also encourage them to do their best.

Home Connect Students in grades 3-5: All students must test on campus. Students will test with their Home Connect cohort and will wear a mask. Upon completion of the test, students will be picked up by a parent, return home, and finish the day in their Home Connect class. If someone other than a parent is picking up the student, please notify your child's teacher and Kellie Kelly, (in the front office). If you have any questions, please reach out to your child's teacher.

If your child is grades K-2, please remind them that the lunch, recess and specials schedules will be different on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, due to testing.
