World Culture Night - Rescheduled!
Counselor's Corner - Mrs. Rouse
February is here! February celebrates love, kindness, black history, and diversity. As mentioned above, World Culture Night has been changed to April. We want this to be a great event and unforeseen circumstances led to the decision to postpone. If you have any questions please let us know and also please save the new date!
Lessons on celebrating differences and diversity will also be postponed due to World Culture Night being rescheduled. Students will instead learn about empathy, kindness, and problem-solving. Last week, students learned about what goals are. They set a goal for themselves and reflected on what efforts it may take to reach their goal. Even at a young age, goal setting is an important life tool.
I am happy to help with your child's success and am always available to discuss any concerns that you may have. Please let me know if you would like to meet during either conference evening.
