Message from Bob Carnaroli
Raider Nation,
I hope the Holiday Season finds you and your family well. This time of year is always exciting around schools with activities, from concerts to athletic events, bingo, service projects and giving back to our community. While we are finishing first semester academically, we are also giving students the opportunity to connect to the bigger things in their lives.
Together let us endeavor to be kinder to each other; say thank you more; acknowledge the good in others; and share your passions for the betterment of others.

Revised School Safety Measures
New safety measures
We have taken additional measures to better ensure the safety of our school.
- For safety purposes we are manning doors that are unlocked for long durations for arrival.
- The front main doors will open at 7:00 am
- The bus ramp doors will open at 7:40 am
- Other arrival doors, including gym doors will open at 8:00 am
- All exterior doors in the school will be locked during and after school including the door next to the green house and the Auxiliary Gym lobby door. School personnel will ensure that those doors are opened during class change for students to transition through.
- Please help us by discussing with your child the importance of not propping exterior doors open under any circumstances, letting people in through exterior doors, nor coming into any school building outside of open door / school hours without a supervising staff member.
- Students found propping doors may be held accountable by a discipline consequence.
- Students found in any school building without a supervising staff member outside of open door/ school hours may be held accountable by discipline consequence and may be subject to trespassing charges.
We believe in doing everything in our power to help keep students and staff as safe as possible here at North High and appreciate your partnership to that end!

Senior Dues: All payments must be made online at https://www.3rdascent.com. Pricing will be $145 until December 31st, 2022. On January 1st, dues will increase to $170 to incur a late fee. Dues cover the cost of the graduation cap/gown, diploma/diploma cover, senior breakfast, senior picnic, rental of the arena, and other special treats. Seniors will be able to pick up their cap/gown before the senior picnic on April 26th.
Graduation: Please note that graduation is on SUNDAY, May 21st at 2pm at Gas South Arena. Once the portal for graduation announcements has opened, we will share that through the newsletter for families to order.
Senior Letters: For the first time in a long time, we will be collecting senior letters for the Class of 2023. We will start collecting these letters in January 2023 through April 2023. We will send out more concrete information soon, but wanted to give families a heads up that we will be offering this special opportunity this year for parents, grandparents, friends, teachers, and former teachers to write to their seniors. Seniors will get the opportunity to open letters with their friends at the end of the year. Stay tuned for more details soon!
If you have any questions, please reach out to one of the senior sponsors.
