Winter Informational Meeting
Calling all of today's teenagers and young adolescents!
Are you between the ages of 12 and 17? Do you frequently use social media and social networking sites, such as Facebook and Twitter?
Do you sometimes experience feelings of sadness or loneliness after using such sites? Do you sometimes feel as if social media is creating unnecessary problems for you? Do you feel as if these problems may be affecting your mental health?
If so, there is no need to worry. Thanks to the efforts of various media and communication experts, there are now a few ways that teens can help fix some of the issues they might be having with social media and how it influences them.

Join us this Thursday, December 4, 2014, for our winter informational session held at 10:00 am in University Center B. This month's meeting will be focusing on how teenagers' usage of social media can affect their mental well-being. We will be discussing the prevalence of social media in teens' lives and also how various social media influence teenagers. After, we will be providing some solutions for what you as adolescents can do to become more knowledgeable and aware of the various social media sites you encounter.
