This week we will focus on our classroom routines while we enjoy getting to know each other. I will be sending home our classroom schedule this week. You can expect the children to have gym on a daily basis, so please be sure to have your child wear/bring sneakers daily. Our morning routine will include a Circle Time where the children will say the Pledge of Allegiance & review calendar skills. During this time we will read a book pertaining to our weekly theme, sing songs, or have a group lesson. The rest of the morning will include snack time and independent work time. During this time the children will receive their individual lessons and have time to work on their own or in small groups.
While the preschool children are out of the classroom, the Kindergarten children will have their individual lesson time. The kindergarten children will also have their individual time during the afternoon session. We are so excited to get started!
As soon as I have confirmation on our Class Parents, I will be reaching out to ask for supplies for our Practical Life exercises. More information will follow soon. As this is the first mailing, please just send me a quick acknowledgement to firstname.lastname@example.org so I know you received this email and my contact list is accurate. Thank you so much for your support, I look forward to getting to know and work with your children.
