Scouting for Food

The Boy Scouts of America and various other organazations are trying to help end world hunger by supplying food for local food pantries. We have workers, boxes, and locations to collect and organize the food. There is just one thing we need. We need food! We need the community of Coppell to join us in feeding the hungry. With your help, world hunger doesn't stand a chance!

GracePoint Church, 590 S Denton Tap Rd, Coppell, TX

Please bring white rice, canned vegetables, canned soups and juices, canned meats, canned chili, boxed helper meals, pastas, and dried pinto beans. You can either bring it to the church and help sort food, or put it in the yellow bags that were hung on your doors to be collected by a Boy Scout. You can also donate at Scouting for Food barrels at local Tom Thumbs.

Troop 845

We are a Christian based troop that meets in Coppell, TX. Our troop number comes from Psalms 84:5 "Blessed is the man who's strength is in the Lord." We meet on Sundays at 6:00 at Coppell Bible fellowship.
