How YOU can boost enrollment
What's more? Now you can share videos that are 30-seconds or less to share why you love Holy Family! We call these our Holy Family Half-a-Minute. Use your phone, computer, or tablet. (horizontally) to record a short video of you or your child sharing what you love about Holy Family. (These need not be professional nor high-end. In fact, their natural organic appearance will provide an authenticity to them!). Then email or share the video with Mr. Zeckser at zzeckser@holyfamilycr.org. We will collect these and share them to Facebook and to our website for guests to see. Your voice and experience is a great tool to promote the school.
Thank you!

Summer Solutions Summer Program
Summer is almost upon us. If your child is planning on participating in the Summer Solutions summer program with Mrs. Detert, please contact her at tdetert@holyfamilycr.org to give her your child’s name and preference for which day of the week works best to Zoom. The first Zoom will be the week of June 1.
Kuddos to the following math students:
This week Art of Problem Solving hosted a special MathCounts Week for all students in grades 6-8. The week included an online 2020 MathCounts State Competition. The following students participated and represented LaSalle very well:
Bryant Norris, Shea Buenzow, Teresa Pham, Freddy Zeckser, Sophia Mittlestadt, Killian Simanek, Ben Allard, and Marie Francis!
They competed in the team round and in the individual competition. I want to thank these students for doing math, even when they weren’t required to!

Kernels Summer Reading Program
The Kernels Summer Reading Program is designed to help encourage students to stay engaged in their education outside the classroom. Reading program scorecards are where students can find directions on how to participate and track their minutes. Just like baseball, students must make their way around the bases to hit a home run in the Kernels Summer Reading Program. To keep everybody motivated to read, we have prizes at each base (benchmark) along the way:
1st Base Prize 250 minutes read – A free ticket to a Kernels Game and a $5 opening deposit from Hills Bank
2nd Base Prize 500 minutes read – A free Kid’s Buffet at Pizza Ranch and one free pass for unlimited access to the bounce castles at a Kernels game.
3rd Base Prize 750 minutes read – A Kernels Pennant and Kernels themed coloring book.
Home Run Prize 1,000 minutes read – A Mr. Shucks jersey pillow and an invitation to Reader Recognition Day on Sunday, August 30th to participate in a Home Run Reader on-field parade.
When the time comes to return to the ballpark, students can come and get all the prizes they have earned at our Bimm Ridder Diamond Shop next to the ticket office. Happy Reading and Go Kernels!

XAVIER HS, OUR PARTNER PARISHES AND COMMUNITY NEWS
Xavier High School SOS ("Saints of Service")
Xavier students are happy to offer support and service to Xavier Catholic School families through student volunteers and outreach efforts. We invite you to complete this form to share your family's specific needs. If you have already done so and your needs have changed, you are welcome to complete it again!
Each week, Xavier SOS coordinators will review your submission and will respond with how we can best assist your family. After completing the form, you should expect to hear from a parent volunteer OR an XHS student who has volunteered to help our families via the SOS effort.
Xavier Summer Camps
Xavier High School has a form to generate interest in our annual Xavier summer camps. At this time we are not asking for payment we simply want to see if there would be enough interest to promote them IF we are able. Please click on the link below to fill out the form:
