Principal's News

It is hard to believe that we are in our last full month of school. Even though this year has been filled with lots of learning and great experiences, we are not done yet!! We have more to learn and many more accomplishments to celebrate, events and activities to look forward to throughout the month of May as we quickly approach the end of the year. Please take a moment to update your calendar with all of our exciting activities including our Third Grade Musical, BOGO Book Fair, Art Show, Field Day, Fifth Grade Graduation, Kindergarten Celebration and much, much more! All these important events are listed below under the "Important Dates" section.

We want to extend a BIG “thank you” to all of our wonderful parents and volunteers for all the support you have provided this year. You have been there for field trips, parties, PTA events, movie nights, fundraisers and so much more. Without you, many of these would not have been possible. We will be celebrating and recognizing all of our volunteers on the morning of May 19 during our Volunteer Social. We hope to see you there!

Important Reminders.......

As the weather warms up, it's hard to resist the urge to break out the flip-flops. There are those obvious reasons why flip-flops should not be worn at school and others that should be considered:

1) You may slip and fall if you come in contact with water
2) Tripping, falling and skinning your knees, elbows and

knuckles on the blacktop, field or playground; others include:

3) Flip-flops expose your feet to bacteria, viral and fungal infections

4) Cause blisters

5) The strap breaks easily when someone steps on the back of them

6) Plastic straps may be made of latex, which many people are allergic to

7) They are not good for your posture

There are an abundance of coats, jackets, lunch boxes, etc. in our lost and found. Once school is out and these items have not been claimed then they will be donated.
