DISTRICT NEWS - PLEASE COMPLETE YOUR STUDENT'S CERTIFICATION FORM BY CLICKING ON THE LINK STATED IN THE CORRESPONDENCE BELOW
Dear Sandwich CUSD #430 Parents, Guardians, and Students:
With the first day of full in-person learning scheduled for August 19, the following update pertains to revisions to the District’s 2021-2022 Return to Learn Plan.
As you know, on August 4, Governor Pritzker announced that “effective immediately” all school districts are required to have masks worn indoors, thus all individuals must wear a face mask when inside a Sandwich CUSD #430 building or on a bus. This mandate is in place for all individuals, regardless of vaccination status and applies to any school activity held indoors. This requirement will remain in effect until further notice.
Per previous correspondence, full in-person learning will resume and the staff and administration look forward to greeting students on August 19 (1:10 pm dismissal).
If interested, the DeKalb County Health Department conducts daily vaccinations. More information can be found at the following web site: https://health.dekalbcounty.org .
Prior to the first day of school, please complete a one-time online self-certification form for your student(s). In lieu of daily self-certification paper forms, please find the one-time student self-certification form by clicking here: student self-certification form
Please find the District’s 2021-2022 Return to Learn Plan by clicking here: 2021-2022 Return to Learn
Please find the District’s 2021-2022 Procedures and Protocols by clicking here: 2021-2022 Procedures and Protocols
All items included in this correspondence are subject to change based upon changes in applicable factors including an increase in COVID-19 rates or revised public health guidance/mandates.
Thank you again for your many efforts and the District is looking forward to greeting our student body in-person on August 19.
Sincerely,
Sandwich CUSD #430 Administration
