BCIT Engineering Academy will prepare students for success

USA Today found that Boeing, the world's largest plane maker, “estimates that by 2034, there will be a need for 558,000 new commercial airline pilots and 609,000 new maintenance technicians.” Skills learned through the hands-on engagement of CTE programs such as those found at BCIT’s new Electronic & Computer Engineering Technology Academy, have the potential to positively contribute to this in-demand field now and in the future.

Students in the Aerospace Engineering program will be able to fill these predicted job openings and be on the forefront of an exciting field of engineering.

BCIT Adult Education: Letter from a Parent

"...After looking into many careers, our daughter chose BCIT's Dental Assisting program. Once we met you and toured your facility, we knew BCIT was the place for her. Her excitement was immediate and she never looked back. For the first time in years, we saw her studying and completing work. She couldn't wait to tell us everything she learned each day. Once the internships started, we knew she had found her niche. You have gone above and beyond to prepare all of your students for this field. Through your combination of professionalism and just the right amount of "mothering", you have taken a kid with no direction and given her a future that she is looking forward to. We are eternally grateful for the education, support, and direction you have provided her".

Sincerely, Mr. & Mrs. Falkowski
