Dear Parents,
Here's what's happening at school this week.
The Halloween parade will begin around 9:30 on Wednesday. Students can wear their costumes to school, but please do not send weapons of any kind.
Conferences

English
We will continue writing, learning root words, and practicing grammar each day. There will be a quiz on Friday.
Enrichment Writing
Math
Math
Last week, students modeled division with mixed numbers. They also practiced dividing mixed numbers. They had two homework assignments. The assignments that are due on Monday are: Page 117(2-6)/Page 118(1-6) and Page 123(2-9)/Page 124(1-6). This week, students will be finishing up Chapter 2. They will spend this week solving story problems involving various operations and they will be reviewing for the Chapter 2 test. The Chapter 2 test is scheduled for Monday, November 5th.
Enrichment Math
Last week, students continued their practice with solving equations with variables on both sides. This week, students will continue practicing this type of math problem.

We have our ecosystem unit test this Friday 11-2. Students have a review sheet we filled out and discussed in class last week. We will review Monday and Tuesday for the test. Review Sheets are due 11-2 before the students take the test.
