Retake Day is on Monday, November 20th. Here is a reminder notice in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
International Night was a huge success. The food was delicious, and the company was even better! Thank you to all who participated to make it possible. We would love to host another one this spring—more information to come.
Next week, we have some fun activities planned, including Pre-K Multicultural Feasts, Photo Retakes, Spirit Day (wear clothes representing your country), and Early Release. Remember to sign up for the Math-a-Thon and complete your fall catalog fundraiser purchases.
Greenwich Afters Information
We're planning the winter session with Greenwich After School and want to hear from YOU! Please share your feedback via this quick survey to help us inform which enrichment classes to offer: English version / Spanish version.
I wish you a restful and gratifying Thanksgiving Holiday and safe travels for those who will be this year. I am looking forward to the rest, to see my boys, and to spend some quality time over many meals with my family.
Best,
Mrs. Fox

Hamilton Avenue Staff!
We have been struggling to find sub coverage this school year. Thank you to all of the Hamilton Avenue Staff members for helping cover classes and offering extra support in the classrooms over the past few weeks! If you know anyone looking for a job, the sub positions are very flexible and pay well! We are also looking for a building sub for Hamilton Avenue. Here is the application information for daily substitute and building substitute. We are still looking for a substitute to help in the cafetorium, click for more information Cafeteria Monitor (Part-Time 15 hours/week) @ Greenwich Public Schools.

Mrs. LeDonne's 1st grade learners!
Mrs. LeDonne's 1st-grade engineers learned that a force applied to an object will change the way the object moves in the Unit 2 Force and Motion unit during Science. Standards addressed in this unit include:
- Plan and conduct an investigation to compare the effects of different strengths or different directions of pushes and pulls on the motion of an object.
- Analyze data to determine if a design solution works as intended to change the speed or direction of an object with a push or a pull.
Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT)
Grade 2 students recently took the Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT). Scores are being emailed to all grade 2 parents on November 17 and will be stored in the LinkIt! Parent Portal for parents' future reference. More information about the CogAT is available in this video (English slides, Spanish slides) and on the official website at https://riversideinsights.com/cognitive_abilities_test.
We're Raising Money for St. Jude's - Mathathon!
Our school is hosting a St. Jude Math-A-Thon. We're solving math problems and asking for pledges so we can help kids with cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
