ACTIVE LISTENING
November 29, 2015
To listen to someone without interrupting felt really good. I could really listen and understand for the first time. People dont usually listen actively in my life. I think it’s because they have never been taught to. What made this challenging for me is that i had to keep remembering to keep eye contact or to mirror the person I was talking to. It can build trust and support relationship by showing the person that you care about them. The question that i have is how can i keep remembering to apply the skill in real life.

THE MARSHMALLOW CHALLENGE
November 28, 2015
Reflection about my performance during the challenge
I used composure during the challenge, i was very calm and maintained self control.
I used cultural adaptbillity in the way of my listening to other people’s ideas, trying to understand ideas that i didnt think of or didnt agree with, i saw the differences between their point of view and my ideas.
i can say that i used the leadership skill, i tried to pick the ideas and to mix them together to create something original and to try and help peple with their ideas or tasks at the moment.
I was very objective, honest and if any sort of idea to acomplishing our goal wasn’t right, i tried to help .
I think i failed in the part of organizing things and planning them until the end because we had really cool and good ideas and we combined them into something very nice but nonpractical. If we had been more organized maybe we could have avoided “failing” which was really fun because we cooperated and learned how it feels to work together.
