ANNOUNCEMENTS
Stomp Out Bullying: October is National Bullying Prevention Month. At Trinity, we recognize that bullying is not a Christian attitude and so we support the anti-bullying campaign. We encourage students to wear BLUE to help support this cause on Monday, October 2! Our Theme for Bullying prevention will be Stand Up for Others. Be Brave! If you see someone being bullied, don't just watch, step in and stand up for them. If you need to, it's okay to grab an adult/ teacher to help you talk with them.
K-4 will be learning that hurtful words are easy to say and that we're not able to put those words back into our mouths. Upper grades will be using positive messages to help build strong, positive relationships and make positive friendships! Please help us support this awesome cause that will help our children to better demonstrate Christ's love through their actions and attitudes toward other students here at Trinity.
Extended Hours Program Reminder:
For the safety of all our students, any student who arrives prior to 8:15 a.m. MUST sign into EHP! Thank you for your cooperation. Also, if you will be using this program, please click on this link to review the policies: EHP Policies
Pastor Appreciation Day: Wednesday, October 11, is Pastor Appreciation Day at TLS. Trinity students, faculty and families will be thanking all six pastors from Trinity and our sister churches who help with the weekly chapel service. We will be presenting each pastor with a small gift of appreciation for the wonderful work they do at our chapel service that day at 8:45 a.m. Please join us. We are asking for a small donation of $1-$5 from each student or family to cover the costs of the gifts - however, don't let that amount limit your appreciation. You are certainly welcome to give more! Please bring the donation to the school office by Monday, October 9. Each pastor is invited to eat lunch with the students that day as well. Help us thank our pastors for all they do!
Pastor John Borgwardt (Living Word - Waukesha), Pastor Jonathan Arndt (Reformation – Genesee), Pastor Timothy Gerbing (Christ - Pewaukee), Pastor Jason Hacker (Grace – Waukesha), Pastor Aaron Christie (Trinity), Pastor Scott Oelhafen (Trinity), and Pastor Lawrence Gates (Trinity).
Does your child need OTC medication during the school day? If so, please complete this Medication Administration Consent Form. Please bring the form along with the medication to the school office with your child’s name on it, and we will keep it locked up. This goes for prescription medication too. Thank you for your cooperation!
Pre-Planned Absences: In the event your student MUST miss any or all of a scheduled school day, please fill out the Pre-Planned Absence Form (link on page 2) and turn it into the school office ASAP. Consult the TLS Handbook for detailed information on school attendance.

VOLUNTEER MACHINE WORKSHOP
Come to the Volunteer Machine Workshop this evening at 7 pm!
Does your Trinity group have too many people volunteering? Then this presentation isn't for you. :-)
The truth is that volunteer recruitment is a constant challenge for any church. This presentation, on Wednesday, September 27, at 7 pm in the Trinity Fellowship Hall, will look at the Biblical fuel for volunteerism as well as tips to recruit and retain a steady stream of volunteers as we carry out Jesus' mission for His church.
Professor David Scharf from Martin Luther College, our SAA presenter back in April 2017, will share practical ways to help grow our ministries. ALL Trinity Boards/Committees/members are strongly encouraged to attend. To help our leaders properly plan, please pre-register ASAP at this link: http://bit.ly/trinityseptember27
Bring your Trinity group or just yourself!
