THE SCOOP
Pre-K 2's Weekly Review
What We Have Learned
This week we continued and completed our unit on pumpkins. Throughout the week we visited "Rotten Jack" and shared our thoughts on why our jack-o-lantern began to look and smell differently. On our nature walk we discussed and recorded the observations we made using all of our senses. We also practiced estimating how wide and tall a pumpkin in our room was using Legos.
Letter Jj And Numbers 1-5 Spotlight
This week we focused on letter Jj and on Jj vocabulary words. We brainstormed to find words that began with Jj and some students even shared words that had the letter Jj in it. We also practiced writing both upper and lowercase Jj's and a letter search.
We focused on recognizing, counting, ordering and writing numbers 1-5. We practiced counting golf tees, pumpkins, acorns, etc.
