This session will consider the development of the labor movement in the United States. It will address the struggle between labor and capital during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. In addition to presenting the diverse ways in which American workers organized labor unions and fought to achieve meaningful legal and political status in the United States, this session also will challenge readers to think carefully about the roles of violence, bigotry, racism, and sexism in the labor movement.

1. All of the M/C bank questions have been added, with the inclusion of some additional questions created last year by the teachers at North Forsyth. Specific questions for each unit can be found in the PSL library, just search by the key work "civics" or "CE". Additionally, all of the questions can be found the Review Materials for the NC Final. They are sorted by objective.
2. There are several interesting sites offering both online and pdf materials for PFL (aside from Everfi). They might be good to peruse:

Message from Melissa
I hope everyone had a safe and relaxing holiday. I know it was too short, but it always is.
As we wind down the semester, please let me know if there is anything you need help with. During the last few weeks in December, I assisted teachers with
- developing some vocabulary activities
- looking over the first unit of Civics to better align lessons
- looking at data to develop a plan for next semester
I am willing to help out with similar tasks or others! Just shoot me an e-mail.
Have a great week.
Melissa
